Karina W. Davidson, Senior Vice President of Research for Northwell Health, Professor of Behavioral Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, Head of the Center for Personalized Health, part of the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research at Northwell Health. She is a licensed clinical psychologist by profession. The Founder and past Chair of the Cochrane Evidence-Based Behavioral-Medicine Committee, she now serves as the Vice-Chair of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force. Previously, she held professorial and leadership positions at Columbia University medical school. For more than 25 years, she has served in leadership roles of diverse stakeholder teams focused on the advancement of scientific and educational missions, through both the generation and utilization of research-based evidence. Dr. Davidson’s current research focuses on Personalized (N-of-1) Trials to identify precision therapies to improve a single patient’s symptoms, conditions or behaviors, and promote their overall health and wellness.
