O'Neil A.S. Outar is the Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the Rhode Island School of Design since 2018, responsible for fundraising, alumni and family relations, and Museum engagement. Prior to RISD, he held similar positions at the University of Pittsburgh, Harvard University, the University of Alberta, and MIT. O'Neil has a successful track record of leading comprehensive fundraising campaigns and setting new records in both giving and engagement. He is a Special Adviser to The Guyana Foundation and an Advisor to Project Citizenship, and holds a Master of Arts in Urban and Environmental Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University.
