Catherine Zucker is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian. She holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.A. from Harvard University, and a PhD from Harvard University, all in astronomy and physics. An astronomer by trade, Catherine's research interests span astrophysics, data science, data visualization, and data sharing, with an emphasis on the use of "big data" to understand the structure of our home galaxy, the Milky Way.
